Exhausted in August

Just so's ya know. According to Slate (The Out-of-Towner - While Bush vacationed, 9/11 warnings went unheard. By Fred?Kaplan) Bush may never have seen the famous August memo because he was on vacation that whole month. I've heard people give exuses for Bush because he was only on the job for 8 months when terror struck... but, to be honest, he wasn't even on the job!
